Currently the Trust own and manage the Contin Community Hall. During February / March 2011 the Trust are conducting a survey in the village and the surrounding are to determine how best to make use of the hall and to encourage the community to make greater use of the hall. The survey in anonymous and the results of the findings will be made public in April.
Since taking over the hall the Trust have run a series of events and also opened a Community Library. Following several donations of books, the library has a wide selection of both modern and classic books but we would still welcome more children's books to add to it. There is no limit on the number of books or the period of time that books can be loaned for. The Library is free to all members of the Trust and is currently open Mondays (10.30am - 1.30pm) Wednesdays (2pm - 5pm) and Fridays (2pm - 5pm). Opening times are to be reviewed when the results of the survey are known.
